KitchenAid's Cook for the Cure®

KitchenAid’s Cook for the Cure® line of pink products benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. For each Pink Product sold and registered, KitchenAid will donate at least 10 percent of the retail price to Komen. The Pink Products must be registered on-line at www.CookfortheCure.com to generate a donation.

Those who love to cook and entertain can turn a meal with friends or family into a party with a purpose by simply asking each guest to make a donation to Komen for the Cure®. Guests can choose to have their donations benefit their local Komen Affiliate. Ideas for raising funds while hosting a party for family and friends along with recipes are included in the Cook for the Cure® Party Kit. The Party Kit is available for download, www.CookfortheCure.com.

Pass the Plate

KitchenAid, in cooperation with Villeroy & Boch, introduces a ceramic serving plate that reads “Cook for your friends. Cook for your family. Cook for the Cure.” The plate, marked by a pink ribbon, is meant to be passed to friends and family along with a culinary specialty prepared by the giver. Once the plate is passed, the recipient is then asked to do the same.

Every time the plate is passed and registered at www.CookfortheCure.com/PassthePlate, KitchenAid will donate $5 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. Those who register will be able to view their plate’s travels on the site and upload stores, recipes and photos about their pass. Caffe Calabria designed a unique coffee line with eight distinct coffees called Coffee for the Cure. Revenue from the sales of these coffees will be donated to Komen San Diego to help further our work in research as well as helping qualified uninsured women with access to breast health services. Yoplait, Saving Lids to Save Lives

Collect your pink Yoplait yogurt lids from October 1 through December 15 and Yoplait will donate 10 cents for every lid collected. Feel free to bring your lids into the Komen San Diego office at 4699 Murphy Canyon Road, 102B, San Diego, CA 92123. Questions? Please call us at (858)573-2760.

Banking on a Promise with Bank of America

Give back to Susan G. Komen while using your Komen branded credit card. From February 2012 to May 2015, Bank of America is guaranteeing a minimum of $1,000,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

For each new Susan G. Komen for the Cure branded credit card account opened and activated, Komen receives a minimum of $3 and .20% of all net retail purchases made with the card. For example, 20 cents of ever $100 will be donated to Komen. Komen will also receive $1 for each annual renewal of the card.
