26 Sep Heidi Ganda, Breast Cancer Survivor
“I’m Heidi. I was diagnosed at the end of February this year. Prior to my diagnosis, I did not feel any lump in my breast. My mammogram from November 2017 was negative for breast cancer. The only lump I felt was under my left armpit. The biopsy revealed adenocarcinoma, and from the PET scan, the cancer originated from the breast. My chemo started April and should end in August. I’m an Emergency Department Registered Nurse and a Licensed ZUMBA instructor since March 2012. I supported most of the ZUMBA Party in PINK, and this year, I want to join the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I just celebrated my 46th birthday! I’m a CANCER WARRIOR!
